I am Mrs. Theresa A. Rolenz, the kindergarten teacher here at St. Augustine School. I have worked with this excellent staff for four years. Prior to teaching kindergarten, I taught third grade for three years and loved every minute of it. I am a graduate from The University of Akron and have my bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education. I also have a minor in Child and Family Development. My favorite thing about teaching is watching the growth that the children made throughout the year.
When I am not teaching, I spend all of my time with my husband, Jeremiah, and our two daughters Emma, 7, and Kylee, 2. We love to go shopping and watching movies as a family. During the summer, we enjoy swimming and bike riding.

Mrs. Sonja Begert, Kindergarten aide

This is my fourth year teaching at St. Augustine School. I graduated from The University of Akron in 2005 with a Bachelors of Science degree in Physical Education. I am currently working towards my Masters degree in Special Education from The University of Akron and plan to complete the program in May 2012. I teach Physical Education, Health, and assist in the kindergarten classroom. I love having the opportunity to teach students at both the elementary and middle school levels. It has been amazing to watch the students grow over the years.
When I am not teaching, I spend my time with my husband, Jeffrey, and our two children, Madelyn, 3, and Logan, 2. We love to go bicycling, fishing, and play outdoors as a family. I love to watch sporting events, as well as participate in them.

Miss Lindsay Foley, 1st grade

I am in my third year of teaching at St. Augustine School, previously teaching at Lawrence School in Broadview Heights, Ohio. I graduated from Ashland University in 2007 with my B.S. in Early Childhood Education. My favorite thing about teaching first grade is watching the light bulb turn on when a student learns something new! In addition to teaching, I also direct the school drama club, which will be performing Schoolhouse Rock Live! in the Spring, as well as coordinate the Scholastic Book Fair each year.
In my spare time, I enjoy scrapbooking, shopping and spending time with my fiance, Steve, whom I met at St. Augustine School! We are planning a June 2012 wedding at St. Augustine Church.

Mrs. Natalie Chester - 2nd grade

I am Mrs. Natalie Chester. I am the second grade teacher at St. Augustine School. This is my 16th year of teaching. I have been a member of St. Augustine Church my whole life. I was a St. Augustine School graduate in 1986. My father, my brothers, and my daughter are also St. Augustine School graduates. I taught fourth grade for six years at Immaculate Conception School. I have taught a variety of grades over the past ten years at St. Augustine. I have taught fifth, fourth, third, eighth, and second. I love the challenges and rewards each grade level brings. My favorite part of teaching second grade is teaching the sacraments. It is such a joy being a part of their special day.
My husband Jim and I have two wonderful children. We love to spend time together as a family. Our favorite things to do are watch movies together and go to sporting events. We also love anything Disney.

Miss Ruthanne Gooslin, 3rd grade

I am Miss Ruthanne Gooslin, the third grade teacher at St. Augustine School. This is my first year teaching third grade. Prior to teaching third grade, I taught music and instructed the children's choir here at St. Augustine. I am also an active member of the St. Augustine Parish. I am a graduate of The University of Akron and have my bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education. Through the years I have worked with many different children and love that I have made an impact on their lives.
In my spare time, I spend most of my time with my family and fiance' Patrick. We are getting married in March 2012. I also love to go shopping or just relax at home.
