| Congratulations to our 2011 Science Olympiad Team and their coach, Dr. Edward Savitski!
The team finished eighth overall in the regional tournament held at The University of Akron on Saturday, March 5th. The team was only nine points shy of advancing to the state tournament. The following students earned medals: First place medals: Luke Holcomb and Alyssa Owens; Second place medals: Angelina Caporini, Connor Bohley, and Margaret Morber; Third place medals: Hunter Contos and Michael Hornacek; Fifth place medals: Angelina Caporini, Ashley Kozer, Connor Bohley, Jacob Getz, Margaret Morber and Nathan Yoak; Sixth place medals: Connor Bohley, Tyler Sweitzer, and Luke Holcomb.
