MISSION STATEMENT:   St. Augustine Parish, established in Barberton in 1898, is a faith community striving to follow Jesus Christ.  We continue our tradition of service to the community and Catholic education for children throughout the Barberton area. 

Guided by the Holy Spirit, we seek the continuous spiritual growth of the parish and will work to enable all members to share fully in the mission and ministry of Christ through:

CELEBRATING - participating in prayer, holy hours, worship and sacramental life;

EVANGELIZING - living and proclaiming the Good News;

TEACHING - educating and forming each person in the Catholic faith;

CARING - supporting human life, the family and working for justice;

PARTICIPATING - enabling people to become involved in parish life.
