ACCELERATED READER
All classrooms in grades three through eight will be using the Accelerated Reader program, a comprehension-based reading program. Students need to read books and take tests on the computers located in the school. This program will be 10% of each quarter's grade in reading. Choose to read a book from the list at www.arbookfind.com.
Students are required to obtain for each quarter the following points:
- Grades 7 and 8 need 25 points per quarter
- Grades 5 and 6 need 20 points per quarter
- Grade 4 needs 15 points per quarter
- Grade 3 needs 10 points per quarter
This is the equivalent of three grade-level books per quarter.
