SCHOOL BAND

As a member of the school band, students have the satisfaction of learning to play their own musical instruments and enjoy the music they will be making with their fellow band members.  Students will have the opportunity to participate in three major street parades and participate in other performances.  Students in grades 2 through 8 may choose from the following musical instruments:  flute, clarinet, alto saxophone, trumpet or cornet, trombone, and drums.  No experience is necessary

Mr. George Mikan has directed the school band for 23 years.
